GOVERANCE

Pioneer Tunnel is owned and operated by Ashland Community Enterprises (ACE), a non-profit 501(C) (3) corporation. ACE reestored the Pioneer Tunnel in 1962 as a tourist attraction. ACE is dedicated to continuing to promote, and preserve the history, and heritage of the anthracite coal mining industry. Ace is operated by and unpaid, volunteer board of directors.
